What does it mean:
Ministry of truth, is there news and history that the government writes. They write whatever they think is best for them with numerous lies within every story. Witch is the exact opposite of its name. The ministry of love, is actually destroying love. They make it having kids not a love thing but to create more members for the party that is running the government.
Apply it:
What happens in the ministry of truth could easily happen in our society as well. In a way it is because of biased opinions, and some thing help some people and not others so they might disguise it to be different. Things that resemble the ministry of love today is that some people think gays shouldn't raise children but if they are in love why not.
